How much does delivery and spreading cost together?
Spreading runs on flat tiers — $475 up to 5 tons, approximately $700 for 6–10 tons, approximately $950 for 11–15 tons, custom above that — and the material cost is quoted alongside it so you get one all-in number before we schedule anything. Since 1 ton covers approximately 80–100 sq ft at 2″ depth, a 400 sq ft side yard needs about 4–5 tons and a typical 2,000 sq ft front yard about 20–25 tons.

Can it all happen in one day?
Usually, yes — a typical combo job is done in a single day because the delivery and the crew arrive on the same schedule. Larger yards (20+ tons) can run into a second day, and standard scheduling turnaround is 2–3 days from your quote to boots on the ground. Either way, rock never sits un-spread in your driveway overnight without a plan you’ve already agreed to.

Can you help me choose a rock color and size?
Yes — text photos of your house and any rock you like around the neighborhood, and we’ll point you to the closest commonly available color and screened size before ordering. Lighter rock brightens small yards; slightly larger rock stays put better in wind-exposed or sloped areas.
Is spreading decomposed granite different from screened rock?
A little. DG spreads and grades like a coarse soil and benefits from wetting and compacting for paths, while screened rock is placed and raked to a uniform ~2″ blanket. We handle both; just tell us which look you’re after and we’ll plan the visit accordingly.
Will the delivery truck damage my driveway?
Delivery drops are planned for the safest spot — street-side or on protected driveway sections — and our skid steer moves the material from there. If access is tight (alley-load homes in older Mesa neighborhoods, for example), tell us up front and we’ll stage the drop where it can’t cause trouble.
How do you schedule the delivery and the crew on one date?
That coordination is the whole service: once you approve the flat quote, we book the material drop and our crew for the same window. You pick the day that works; we make both halves land on it.
